Like in all Nasrid constructions, the whole building is arranged around a central patio and in the eastern and western sides there are different rooms, and there are porticos in the rest.

The northern portico has three horseshoe arches resting on columns and covered by a flat wood ceiling -alfarje-, decorated with geometrical figures. You can access a room through a horseshoe arch with a viewing point in the middle, and bedrooms on both sides, covered by alfarjes, and separated by arches. The ceilings are also made of flat wood.

On the other side of the patio, there is a Christian chapel, with a beautiful wooden ceiling.

Winter (15 October to 14 March): Monday to Sunday, 10am to 6pm. Summer (rest of the year): Monday to Sunday, 10am to 8pm.

The Dar Al-Horra Palace can be visited through the “Dobla de Oro” programme of visits, organised by the Patronato de la Alhambra y El Generalife, which includes a further 5 monuments.

Standard price for "La Dobla de Oro": 28,50€. Double del Oro Gardens: 21,50€. Dobla de Oro Nocturnal: 22,50€. In all cases a visit to the Dar Al-Horra Palace is included.
