Festival of the "Sopa de los Siete Ramales"
El BurgoThe "Sopa de los Siete Ramales" (Soup of the Seven Ingredients) owes its name to its main components: tomato, pepper, onion, garlic, bread, mint and green asparagus. The inhabitants of El Burgo are experts at preparing this dish, which is why it has become one of the village's most important gastronomic attractions.
The Festivity of the "Sopa de los Siete Ramales", declared to be of Provincial Tourist Interest, offers visitors the perfect opportunity to sample this delicious speciality. The townspeople lovingly prepare the soup over open stoves in the traditional way, accompanied by the sounds of live music and with the streets alive with the festive atmosphere.
