SevillaGuillermo Silva Marín is the creator of the great work "Luisa Fernanda", a distinguished and acclaimed Spanish zarzuela.
Considered the queen of zarzuelas, this musical drama, alternating dialogues, songs, choruses and dancing, carries the loves and heartbreaks of Luisa Fernanda and Javier through the streets of Madrid during the Revolution of 1868.
Monarchists and Republicans, Carlists and revolutionaries surround the misadventures of Luisa and her lover Javier, a soldier promoted to colonel who barely visits her. Standing between the lovers are the mighty Carolina who, together with Vidal, a landowner who craves the love of the leading lady, complicate the development of Javier's disregard toward Luisa.
