The Port of Almería is on the Eastern edge of Andalusia, at the entrance of the Mediterranean, well positioned for re-positioning routes coming directly from the United Kingdom and also for the weekly routes of the west Mediterranean regions, reaching Gibraltar, Palma de Mallorca and Valencia. It has an intense fishing, industrial and passenger transport activity, in addition to being a stopover point for Mediterranean cruise ships.

Almería is a world of contrasts with undisturbed sandy beaches, deserts, snowy mountains, Moorish castles and a fortified cathedral, which is unique in its style. This medium-sized city is a joy to visit, with a very interesting history, but also surrounded by an amazing countryside and unique landscapes in Europe.

Train arrival

R.E.N.F.E. from Intermodal Transport Hub of Almería (train and bus) offers users a wide range of products and services, making train journeys across the province more accessible. Services to Granada, Barcelona, Madrid, Seville and Cádiz.

Bus arrival

The buses of different companies depart from Intermodal Transport Hub of Almería, with a regular shuttle service connecting all towns in the province and the main Spanish cities, such as Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Cordoba, Cadiz, Granada, Jaén, Malaga and Murcia.

With almost 190,000 inhabitants, it is quiet, charming and full of contrasts, with some amazing tourist attractions. The Port is integrated into the city and passengers can walk to the historic centre in only a few minutes. The Levante dock, for mid-sized vessels and Ribera Dock, 2nd Alignment.
