Puerto de Cádiz
Bay of Cádiz Port is in the Strait of Gibraltar, between the Atlantic Ocean and the North of Africa, in which cruise ships usually stop when travelling between the Mediterranean and the Caribbean and vice versa.
Not only for its geographic location is Cadiz a popular destination of cruise ships, but also because of the city, its province and the proximity to other tourist destinations of Andalusia. It is for this reasons that various companies have chosen Cadiz as a common stopover point of their cruise ships sailing from the Mediterranean and staying overnight at our port. The port facilities are well communicated with the Cádiz-Sevilla motorway, access point to the national and international network of motorways, so it provides very good connections to North African countries; in addition, there are the upgrades on the roads in the environment, such as the A-381 Jerez-Los Barrios dual carriageway, connecting the dual carriageway of the Mediterranean, creating a quicker connecting link.The Cruise Ship Terminal of Alfonso XIII Dock receives cruise ship passengers in a comfortable and safe location. It was recently refurbished and it has a large welcome hall, with check-in desks to board passengers, disembarking area, luggage reclaim and check-in area and tourist information desk. The usual mooring line for cruise ships is integrated into the city centre, so there is only a 5 minute walk from the passenger terminal to the city centre.
