The Finnish magazine Mondo awards the province as best family destination of the year.
In an article it describes the Costa de la Luz as a small wonder in Spain.
After an enquiry to its readers, the Finnish tourism magazine Mondo presented the Best Family Destination of the Year Award to Costa de la Luz-Cadiz.
The presentation of the plaque accrediting this recognition took place during the Matka Nordic Travel Fair in Helsinki, which the Council Tourism Board, directed by Inmaculada Olivero, participated in last January.
Mondo magazine was born in 2002 and has become a reference for tourism and travel in the Nordic country. With 10 issues per year, one of which is a double issue, the magazine has 107,000 readers.
The articles in Mondo are based on travellers' experiences, which are used to create a sort of travel guide with useful information. The magazine covers all kinds of destinations, from the most popular and most visited, to the most remote and exotic
In the January issue, the magazine published an article about the province of Cadiz, which it calls a small wonder in Spain, a new option for Finland which is located between the Costa del Sol and Portugal.
The article talks about the kilometres of beaches with fine sand, desert dunes and the surfing paradise, however Costa de la Luz stands out overall as a good and reasonable family tourist destination.
