Pico del Pinar (or Torreón), with an altitude of 1,654 metres in the Sierra del Pinar in Grazalema.
We start the ascent on a cold, grey day but, half-way to the summit, we began to see the sun, radiant sunshine, leaving the most marvellous sea of clouds that I have ever seen under our feet.
It was like walking on the sky: for the rest of the ascent, we had a white blanket at our feet, from which only other peaks peeped out. It was a vision of my Andalusia that not many know, and that can only be seen through the personal effort of those of us who love these mountains.
How wonderful my land is.
