Type of event: Exhibitions, Trade Fairs

Art Jaén, Fair of Modern and Contemporary Art, is the largest fair for the exhibition and sale of modern and contemporary art in the whole of Andalusia.  

This year’s edition offers a new format that looks inside art now and adopts a new direction by focusing on four broad themes, as follows:  individual project rooms by artists who were either born in or  have a link with Andalusia; urban interventions; external exhibitions and galleries or exhibition organisers that promote a contemporary interactive dialogue in the approach to the visual arts in Jaén, Andalusia, Spain and Latin America; the dialogue between tradition and avant-garde.  

In addition to these themes, Art Jaén will also include a series of parallel activities for all ages, such as workshops on photography, painting, drawing, video art and printing, film screenings, an introduction to tattooing, a painting workshop for children and a graffiti workshop.on photography, paining, draitradition and vantlusia; urban interventions; external exhibitions.
