The August fair has been declared to be of National Tourist Interest and it is one of the oldest in Spain, its origins date back to 1748.

The most important events include the speech at the Peña Taurina "Los Cabales" (bullfighting club), given by a personality from the bullfighting world, live music, comedians, bullfights, exhibitions of horse-drawn carriages, as well as lots of games and leisure activities like food tasting or cultural events, in this way completing a varied programme that ends with a firework display on the last night.
