Medieval Festivals of San Andrés

Festivals of the Baeza Council in honour of Saint Andrew.

Held in November, these festivals transform the city’s appearance with a medieval market, various cultural, religious and festive events, street theatres, and displays of music and dancing.

This highly attractive cultural programme complements the festivities in the neighbourhood of San Andrés itself, which is where the actual festival takes places, although the whole town is decked out for the occasion, most notably Calle San Francisco, the Plaza de los Leones square and the San Francisco Auditorium.

The annual theme of the celebration is continued with the medieval markets and entertainment, with new activities being added every year.
