Teatro Felipe Godínez
Built in 1992 to commemorate the 5th Centenary of the Discovery of America, and dedicated to Felipe Godínez, the local playwright from Moguer who was a contemporary of Cervantes’.
Its varied and extensive cultural programme has made Moguer today a cultural landmark within the Region of Andalusia. Everything from the best classical drama to the latest modern shows (“Comediants”, “Morboria”) have been staged in this theatre, not to mention classical music (Andalusian Music Circuit), street theatre, dance or any of the first-rate shows from the Spanish theatre scene.
Season: from October to June.
Programme: every Saturday, alternating drama with musicals and dance.
Cinema: every Sunday the Felipe Godínez screens a recent release.
