Alminar de la mezquita mayor, cuya construcción comenzó en 1184. Su nombre proviene de la veleta que remata la torre y que se conoce como el Giraldillo. Es, quizás, el símbolo más conocido de la ciudad. Fue concluida en 1558 con la añadidura del cuerpo de campanas.

Como dato curioso, cabe comentar que en la ciudad de Marrakech existe una torre gemela.

Summer hours (1/07-31/08): Monday to Saturday, 9:30am-4pm. Sundays: 2:30-6pm.

Sevillians, unemployed, disabled and under 16s, accompanied: Free*.

Pensioners and students under 26: €2*.

Visit includes admission to the Cathedral.

 * To obtain any kind of reduction or waiver of admission fees, eligibility for each type of admission must be accredited by means of an official document.
