Belén Viviente de Arcos de la Frontera

As every Christmas season, the town of Arcos de la Frontera  in Cadiz once more celebrates its Live Nativity Scene, festival declared of Tourist Interest in Andalusia.

Between 5.30 to 11.30 pm on Saturday, all the streets in the town will be bedecked with palm trees. Most of them will also be illuminated by the soft light of torches, adding the evocative scent of burning wax to this inviting atmosphere, and making a visit to the Live Nativity even more special.

You will find a wonderful atmosphere and a beautifully decorated town, with its inhabitants dressed in exquisite costumes, perfect in every last detail. Each of the stations of the Nativity are flawlessly staged to enact all the scenes in the birth of Jesus before the public.

This is a visit not to be missed this holiday season.
