Balerma is a historic town of history where guests can try the high-quality rockfish that is caught by hand. The beach is at the very banks of the urban centre, and an 18th century watchtower stands in the centre of its over 3 km long promenade. The beach also receives, for years now, the Blue Flag and the "Q" for Tourist Quality for the quality of its waters and sand, such as Almerimar.
