Casa Pepe de la Judería Restaurant
This tavern was inaugurated in the 19th century. It conserves its original rooms, set around a typical Andalusian patio. It is located in one of Cordoba’s main tourist areas, in an old, rebuilt Córdoba winery. There is a tapas bar on the ground floor, while upstairs there is a restaurant and a barbeque on the terrace.
It offers traditional Andalusian gastronomy with touches of international, signature cuisine, using the best quality Mediterranean market produce. The tapas menu includes delicacies such as pomfret, aubergines with sugar cane honey and roast red peppers with cod.
Specialities in the restaurant are Cordoba-style salmorejo (thick gazpacho made with bread), fish and shellfish soup with chunks of bread, Cordoba-style hake, sea bream with Cava sparkling wine and crunchy vegetables, bull’s tail omelette and fresh foie gras, grilled with caramelised apple.
Monday through Thursday from 1 to 11 pm. Friday and Saturday from 1 to 11:30 pm. Sunday 1 to 11 pm.
