La Estepeña is located in the province of Seville in the town Estepa, its history is that of the many confectioners in small towns. It was founded by Rafael Galván Gómez way back in 1858 and thanks to his dedication and hard work and of course, his know-how, he managed to progress with time over what has now been four generations of the Galván family.

This small, charming family business, inherited from Rafael Galván Gamito would receive a definitive impulse in the hands of his two sons . Rafael and José Galván Fernández; the 3rd generation of the Galván family who have bravely and fearlessly managed to bring La Estepeña to where it is now.

Today, the 4th generation of La Estepeña can tell this story convinced that this is only the beginning, always following the example of their elders in how to work and make their products, together with their love of a job well done and passion for the smallest details.

La Estepeña houses the Museum of the Mantecado.
