Federico García Lorca was born on June 5, 1898, in the house of the village teacher, his mother. With the help of the sister of the poet, the house has been faithfully reconstructed, with many original objects.

The old barn has become an exhibition hall. This house is a valuable meeting place of the investigator with a large collection of photographs, manuscripts, publications, curiosities, etc.

We also find here the old map printed in "lithography Paulino Ventura" (where Lorca then published "Impressions and Landscapes").
