Gualchos, sits on the foothills of Sierra Lújar, at 7 km from the coast and enjoys a mild subtropical climate. The south end of the municipality opens up to the coast, sharing the enchantments of the Mediterranean, i.e.: a quiet sea, a clear blue sky and the mild breeze, which gives its name to this coast as Costa Tropical. And here is Castell de Ferro, one of the pioneering AREAs in the tourist market of the coast of Granada.
