Lugros
Located on the north face of the Natural Park of Sierra Nevada, sits the village of Lugros.
Its Moorish past can be seen in the layout of the streets in the town centre, where it is worth visiting the Parish Church of Santo Cristo de los Milagros, built on top of an old mosque.
Nature lovers can enjoy walking along the paths leading into the breathtaking spots of the Natural Park.
History
The name of this village refers to the numerous wolves that must have lived in the area.
It was repopulated by people from Castile.
