Navas de San Juan
This village is situated to the north of the province, in the Sierra Morena mountains, more precisely on the Loma de Chiclana, between the Montizón and Guadalimar rivers. Its landscape, as the rest of the AREA, has the olive tree as the main feature, but also offers cereal fields and mountain patches. The village has monuments such as the ruins of an Arab castle from the 9th century and the Parish Church of San Juan Bautista.
History
Its history is connected with Santisteban del Puerto"s, from which it separated in 1802 by a royal warrant given by King Carlos IV.- Max 13
