Seville the world's best city to visit in 2018
The famous Lonely Planet guides, which select the best tourist destinations for the next year through its Best in Travel 2018 publication, have chosen Seville as the world's best city to visit.
The selection for 2018 has just been made public and, for the first time, a Spanish city heads the preferences of the great travellers and editors of the Lonely Planet guides.
In the choice of Seville as the most interesting city to visit in 2018, the editors and travellers of Lonely Planet have especially considered its enormous historic and artistic heritage, the revitalisation of the city in recent years and especially, the celebration, in 2018, of the Year of Murillo.
Seville heads the Lonely Planet ranking “Best in Travel”. Alongside with nine other cities, the list is as follows:
