Day trip to Aracena and Riotinto from Seville
Our trip will start in Seville, where our guide will pick you up at the meeting point you select and take you to Aracena.
In this town, located in the north of the province of Huelva, we will make our first stop. We will walk along its beautiful streets until we reach the entrance to Las Maravillas Grotto. These are natural caves that are sure to surprise you, where geological formations such as stalactites and stalagmites stand out.
We will continue on our panoramic tour through the Dehesa de Sierra Morena, where Iberian pigs live, and there is a great gastronomic tradition of Iberian ham. We will enjoy the landscape of Biosphere Reserve by making several stops at iconic places such as Aracena Medieval Castle, Almonaster la Real Mosque and La Peña de Arias Montano.
We will have lunch at midday at one of these spots to enjoy the typical gastronomy and its flagship dish: Iberian ham, the most famous product in the Dehesa de Huelva area.
We will also visit the town of Riotinto, known for its mines and the typical reddish hue of the water of the River Tinto. It looks like another planet, like Mars, where NASA studies its extreme conditions, and we will have the chance to take some amazing photos to remember this trip.
