Desierto de Tabernas

We will discover the mountain region behind the coastline of Almeria. We will learn about the river Andarax, its villages and its history. After crossing the white villages of the riverbed we will arrive in Tabernas Desert, where we will visit the famous “Ramblas” and we will learn about the wild nature of this desert. Then we will visit the exterior of the theme parks of the european wild west, that are ancient movie locations of Hollywood and many other famous movies. Full visit inside the park is optional. Before to come back to your accomodation we can choose between many option: visit the village of tabernas, “virgen extra” olive oil mill, the solar Plataform of Tabernas or to stop at the traditional road bar of the famous route 66.

Picking you up at your accomodation and transfer in a private car with your personal guide. Panoramic drive over Almeria city and the river Andarax across its villages. Visit of the “Rambla de Tabernas”, the main one, to get to know its nature. Exterior visit of the theme parks, history and how it works. Possibility of hiking through the “ramblas”.To conclude we have to choose between the different options that the desert offer us. Come back to your accomodation.
