Casa de los Pardo

This is one of the most beautiful civil buildings in the city, and a prime example of Mannerist-style domestic architecture in Andalusia.

Currently only the original façade remains (1636), which is thought to be based on some architectural treatise. Each and every one of the elements is designed to give a greater sensation of elevation, as the height of each section decreases progressively in comparison with the section below.

It is currently the site of the Banco Santander.
