Perseidas y planetario al aire libre

Los Perseidas, Lágrimas de San Lorenzo are a series of astronomical observations around August 12 that are made in the Torcal de Antequera and that have been developing in this Natural Park for more than 20 years. It is a mixture of astronomical observation and session of Planetarium outdoor very didactic but also with the intention of enjoying relaxed observing the starry sky and the remains of comet 109P Swift-Tuttle that run through the sky in the form of starlight. The activity as such lasts for 4 hours and we will discuss the reason for the rain, about the constellations and main stars of the sky, about what the observatory's powerful telescopes (galaxies, nebulae, stellar clusters,...), about constellation mythology, about planets visible in those days such as Mars, Jupiter and Saturn and much more. Thus, on 11, 12 and 13 of August, we will have an appointment in the Torcal de Antequera to discover the sky of this natural place, 1200 meters high and away from sources of light pollution. In addition, these days the Moon will not illuminate the sky during activity so we will see even more shooting stars.  It is necessary to book places and go with masks, folding chairs and warm clothes.
