Kayaks en el Rumblar (Jaén)

Canoeing or Kayaking on the Rumblar reservoir in Baños de la Encina in Jaén is undoubtedly one of the best adventures to bring you closer to Nature in our province.

It is one of the water activities that we organise during the summer and it is ideal to enjoy with family and friends in spring and in summer. You can choose between a boat for one or two people, they are all very stable and unsinkable and ideal for travelling across this incredible stretch of water. Of course each participant will wear a life jacket.
The activity is ideal for children from 3 years of age accompanied by their parents and from the age of 7 they can go alone or accompanied.

There are different routes within this reservoir, one of the most popular being the Kayaking Route to the Peñalosa settlement from the Argar era. It is more than 4,000 years old and a visit there is really fascinating. From the waters of the reservoir you can often make out the great Castle of Burgalimar, the best preserved castle in Europe from Moorish times.

Activities take place in small groups and take about 3 hours and you can choose between a morning and an afternoon trip any weekend until 18 October.
