Itinerary: The visit lasts two hours and covers over three thousand years of history with a route that takes you through the most traditional neighbourhoods, streets, squares in Cadiz. 1 - Plaza San Antonio, dominated by the Church of San Antonio and surrounded by buildings built during the 19th and 20th centuries. It is the scenario for the Proclamation of the Cadiz Carnival. 2 - Plaza de Mina, located in the historical old town in the centre of which stands a statue of General Espoz y Mina from which it takes its name. 3 Plaza de San Francisco, which features the San Francisco Convent, an area full of life where you will be surrounded by terraces and shops. 4- Plaza de España, where you'll find the monument to the Constitution. 5- A stroll along the Calle Ancha, one of the most symbolic streets. 6- A short stop at the Oratory of San Felipe Neri. 7- The visit continues towards the Torre Tavira, the highest lookout tower in Cadiz standing at 45 metres above sea-level. It was the port's official watchtower in 1778 and has exhibition rooms and a "Camera Obscura", a unique tourist attraction. 8- Cathedrals. 9- El Pópulo Neighbourhood. 10- Plaza de San Juan de Dios. This square houses buildings like the Town Hall, the Church of San Juan de Dios, the Casa de los Pazos Miranda and the two recently-built fountains where yo can enjoy a wonderful sound, light and colour show.
