Visits and hiking in Bornos

Bornos has adapted to changing times without losing its deepest essence, both regarding its customs as well as its gastronomy, based on typical produce from vegetable gardens and mountainsides, as well as its typical Andalusian architecture, which remains despite the passing of time.

Some of its typical dishes (berza and abajao) are elaborated with ingredients from the countryside and sierra.

Its natural surroundings permit practising other activities, like hiking. The Bornos reservoir is of great ecological and natural wealth, where you can observe a diversity of birds, fauna and vegetation, as well as practise sports.
