Easter Week in Casarabonela

The processions take place the entire Easter Week and “the thrones” are taken on the shoulders of the members of the brotherhoods following a route that starts at the church and continues along the narrow, sloping streets of the village.

Worth noting is its ethnological heritage, as most of the brotherhoods were founded and organised during the 17th, 18th and mid-19th centuries. Also, the representation of the Passion is very important during Easter week of this town.
