Destilería El Clavel

El Clavel Distillery is in the Seville town of Cazalla de la Sierra. It was founded in 1896, and remained in the hands of the same family until the year 2001, when it was acquired —along with its magnificent formulas— by its current owners, Alquitaras de Cazalla, S.L.

Its main asset is its “Essence of los Ángeles" (Essence of the Angels) – a secret and ancient formula, which has been passed down from generation to generation, within the same family for over 100 years. This unique bouquet from the distillery is the soul of its products, bringing to the most demanding taste buds sensations that can only be described by those who have tasted them.

Manufactured since it was founded, its traditional products are sweet and dry anisettes and the well-known ”Cazalla" and Licor de Guindas (cherry liqueur). The "Orujo de Hierbas" (herb brandy) and "Orujo" were later incorporated into the range.
