There isn't much on information on the church currently known as the Church of Saint Isidro Labrador , and previously, the Church of Corcoya, just that it used to be the shrine dedicated to Saint Isidro and was turned into parish of the Virgin of Fuensanta in 1783.

Its origin as a shrine can be clearly seen in its architecture, representative of these kinds of buildings between the 16th and 17th centuries. The statue of the Virgin of Fuensanta, which presides over the main altar and of Rococo style, is accompanied by images of the Virgin del Carmen y San José Obrero.
