Battle of Flowers

The traditional Battle of Flowers kicks off the May festivities in Cordoba.

Paseo de la Victoria will once again provide the setting for this bloodless battle in which more than 120,000 carnations are thrown and where more than 20 floats gather. These floats are decorated by associations in Cordoba.

Thousands of locals, visitors and tourists flock to take part in the festivity, accompanied by typical Cordoba tunes in the background, in a magical atmosphere of colours and smells that only our city can offer.
