Among the most representative events held in Easter in the Altiplano of Granada is the Living Easter of Cuevas del Campo, drama of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Christ, transforming the village for a few days into the old Jerusalem, capturing the admiration of thousands of people living expectant and astounded at the representation that turns its locals into actors, for which it has been recognised as Festival of National Tourist Interest in Andalusia.
