Biography
Diego Amaya González was born in Cordoba in 1974 but he must be considered a guitarist from Jerez de la Frontera, because it was there that he learnt how to play when he was six years old. He studied with Manuel Lozano, El Carbonero and Balao until he started playing on stage for the first time when he was thirteen. He has played with great artists from Andalusia, such as Mercé, El Salmonete or El Torta. He has been part of Manuel Morao's company Gitanos de Jerez. Lately he has been playing with Aurora Vargas y Pansequito.
