Desert route

We invite you to know and live the incredible desert landscapes of the Hoya de Guadix. We start our route in the picturesque village of Gorafe, located between great desert cliffs.

A road leads us miraculously between the impressive cliffs with beautiful views of the village. We continue our journey to get to a point where a wide path introduces us to the amazing area of the Bad-Lands. With each step the landscape becomes more spectacular with its large gullies and sandstone cliffs of different colours forming a spectacular desert that resembles landscapes of films and documentaries.

We enjoy spectacular views to 360 degrees to the five mountain ranges, much of the year covered in snow, forming an impressive contrast with the desert landscape, in one of the places with the greatest silence in Europe that fully invites disconnection, relaxation and enjoyment and connection and the feeling of being part of this great place.
