Maribel will make us taste an exquisite almond soup, followed by piquillo peppers stuffed with slow-cooked cod confit; and we will finish with eggs in snow, an exquisite homemade dessert made with hand-whipped egg whites.Maribel's home is located just a few metres from the city centre. She manages to capture in her kitchen all the essence of the flavours and smells of yesteryear, using the purest ingredients and the most traditional techniques.

My name is Maria Isabel, but everyone calls me Maribel. I was born in Alcudia de Guadix, where I learnt to cook watching my mother and grandmother. Over the years I moved to the centre of Granada, where I had my two children and set up my own fashion atelier. Because of my work, I have always had contact with many people and, now that I am retired, I miss being in front of the public and attending to people.

That is why I am particularly excited about the Sazón project, because I have seen the opportunity to feel fulfilled by cooking these traditional family recipes and making others enjoy them!
