Guitarrero-Luthier Daniel Gil de Avalle

Daniel Gil de Avalle studied music and violin at the Royal Music Conservatory of Granada and Madrid where he came in contact with some of the most outstanding luthiers. Later he was trained as Guitar-maker with a Master Gutiarrero with whom he shared work and workshop for more than 15 years.

Amongst the acknowledgments of this Master Artisan stand out: Finalist "Best Product" National Artisan Awards for its Elite and Premium Guitars Collection, Della Robbia Award for Craftwork, National Artisan Award 2016, Handicraft Quality Label. Guitarra Gil de Avalle has specialized in the construction, restoration, repair and reproduction of Artisan Guitars and plectrum of great patrimonial value, although, it has a section of sale and assembly of instruments of bowed instrument also given nis training like luthier.

In recognition of its work, the Ministry of Tourism, Commerce and Sport of the Andalusian Government granted the Charter of Master Artisan on January 17, 2012. Daniel Gil de Avalle also has a very important collection of Historical Guitars that brings to light in the form of Microexhibitions on special occasions. After paricipating in the Writing of the Professional Training Course "Maintenance and repair of String Instruments" as an Expert, Guitarreria Gil de Avalle sometimes offers to small and selected groups before booking a very original visit to his workshop of guitrras and presented a Cultural, novel and sustainable Product: "Build your Guitar and Visit Granada City and Province" lasting between 15 days and 1 month and implemented once a year.
