Biography
Ildefonso Pinto Benjumea was born in Bollullos Par del Condado (Huelva) in 1937 and is an accomplished specialist of the 'levantino' styles, which led him to win the 1990 Mining Lamp award of the Mines of La Unión National Flamenco Song Festival. He is also one of the best connoisseur of 'fandangos de Huelva', although he can be considered a singer with an ample repertoire, as he demonstrates with his recordings of an infinitive number of different styles.
