ArQueoNatura arises from the need to preserve and to promote natural spaces and archaeological sites in Andalusia. It comprises accredited guides and interpreters, who lead guided visits to the city of Jaén and its surroundings, children's workshops on history through drawings and nature walks.

They operate under the concept of low-cost walks. What's that? low impact, because they work with small groups, walking through exceptional places and only telling the truth (even if it hurts sometimes). They always seek the benefit for the local community, contributing to dynamism and collaboration and you, yes, you decide the price at the end of the visit (except for its own programme, detailed below).

Routes/products available (own programme):

  • The Lagarto de Jaén, a legendary wall? Review and hypothesis of one of the ten treasures of Spain's intangible cultural heritage.
  • Walks under the light of the full moon: nocturnal itineraries through the city, on the full moon of each month, commenting on the curiosities of the relationship of Jaén with the sky.
  • Torcularium Flavio de Los Robles or the importance of oil production in Roman times in the upper Guadalquivir.
  • A rustic and very rocky Jaén: an easy stroll from the centre of town to discover examples of Schematic rock art
  • Moorish Baths. The evolution of a neighbourhood: the refurbished Jaén Moorish Baths cultural centre houses three museums and various temporary exhibition rooms, but it is merely a drop of History. The different realities of the routine of its surroundings are, even more so, equally interesting.
  • Otiñar, of megalithism at the end of the 20th century: journey through a landscape of extraordinary beauty and surprising natural and human history.
