Cooperativa San Sebastián

The San Sebastián Co-operative is located in the province of Jaén, in the town of La Guardia de Jaén. Its extra virgin olive oil “Señorío de Mesía” is certified with the “Sierra Mágina” Designation of Origin which ensures its origin and quality in accordance with the demanding conditions established by the Regulatory Council of the D.O. and current regulations.

Only extra virgin olive oil that complies with these standards can bear a numbered label endorsed with a certificate of origin and quality, controlled and issued by the Regulatory Council itself, and only these oils can use the "Sierra Mágina" reference.

The star of the Cooperativa San Sebastián oils is “Señorío de Mesia – Early Harvest”, an extra virgin olive oil produced from olives of the Picual variety picked in the month of October and cold-pressed. Its extraordinary quality has been recognised with the “Jaén Selection 2016” quality award, having obtained the highest score of all the prize-winning oils (96.4 points out of a maximum of 100).
