Then you will visit the church to talk about its direct historical precedents and the hospital of Santo Tomás, both iconic buildings full of history and that make the Calle Santa María one of the prettiest streets in the historical town centre of Málaga. 

The tour continues towards the Plaza del Obispo, one of the areas you really should not miss, especially at night. There will be explanations regarding the square and the striking Palacio Episcopal, ending with an introduction to the history of the cathedral and details about the stunning main doorway.

The guide will then provide some interesting data with regard to the garden shared with the temple. Interesting information as is that regarding the other doorway that will finally take us inside. 

Once inside there will be detailed information on the history and the architecture in the interior of the Cathedral of Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación. You will learn interesting facts about the altarpiece, the main chapels and, most importantly, the crown jewel which is the choir, the work of Pedro de Mena, the Spanish master of the Baroque.
