Argentina in concert

Argentina is a top flamenco singer who has won many awards and accolades. She has performed at numerous venues such as the Oslo World Music Festival, Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles and the Lisbon Flamenco Festival, and these performances have boosted her international career and earned her two Latin Grammy nominations.

This Huelva-born flamenco singer has been looking forward to the release of her sixth album, and it has become volume 36 of the anthology "Así canta nuestra tierra en Navidad" (This is how our land sings at Christmas), which over the years has also featured singers such as La Paquera de Jerez, Moraíto Chico, Rocío Jurado, Juan Villar, José Mercé, La Macanita, Fernando Terremoto Jr., Carmen Linares and Ángel Vargas, among many others. Christmas and flamenco go hand in hand in Andalusia… in Spain and all over the world.

Argentina is very proud to be a part of this historical recording. She has wanted to express her way of understanding and interpreting it, reviewing tradition with the traditional bulería, tangos, fandangos from her land, alegrías de Cádiz and also tanguillos and lullabies, but also new songs that she sings with her beautiful voice.
