Rozalén is celebrating the tenth anniversary of her career with "Matriz", her brand new album, in which she gathers traditional folklore songs from all over Spain. The reason for the album: "Right now, these are the songs that make me feel complete. I want to pay tribute to our country's musical roots; not only the songs I have sung since I was a child, in Albacete, but from all the corners that I have been lucky enough to visit and that have also made me feel at home throughout my ten-year career. This is my way of thanking and showing respect for Spanish culture. I sing to my roots and to the roots of those who have made me feel at home."
Rozalén will perform these songs –fandangos, Galician songs, habaneras, Sevillanas, popular songs… and her greatest hits– live, exclusively, in large theatres across Spain throughout December.
These concerts also mark the tenth anniversary of her first album," Con derecho a...", which was released independently. Although she knew that music was something she would do all her life, she never imagined she would actually make a living from it.
