Biography
Manuel Santiago Maya was born in Granada in 1945, in the centre of a family from Saacromonte in Granada, where Manolete began to dance when he was only seven years old accompanied by his guitarist brother Marote´s sonata He travelled all over the world representing the style of flamenco dancing from Granada He is considered one of the maestro´s of the dance to the 'farrucas´ style and has had his own dance company for quite some years In the last years he has stood out for his duos with El Güito, with who he set up the show entitled Sólo flamenco
