VIII Charity Christmas Tree Route Mijas

Once again this year, Mijas Pueblo adds another tourist attraction to its streets during the Christmas festive season.

From next Friday 8th of December until the 5th of January next year, it will be possible to visit the 16 trees participating in the seventh edition of the Solidarity Tree Route organised by Cáritas with the collaboration of Mijas Town Hall and the Alegría de la Huerta Andaluza (AHA) (The Joy of the Andalusian Orchard) association.

It is an initiative in which businesses, associations, brotherhoods and neighbours of the municipality, as well as the Mijas Town Hall itself, participate, and it has two objectives: to decorate the streets at Christmas and turn them into yet another tourist attraction, and to raise funds to help people in need.

The map of the route can be purchased at the tourist offices in Mijas, at the Bootello chemist’s or at the Siete Caños chemist’s for a donation of one euro, and all the proceeds will go to Caritas.
