El Charcón Beach
El Charcón Beach is a medium-sized beach (855 m), situated in the east of the municipality of Mijas, in an area that is not overly developed. It is located in a protected area called the Calahonda Special Preservation Area.
It has a medium occupancy rate, with up to 30-70% occupancy in the high season.
In the western side of this beach, bordering Chaparral Beach, there is a nudist area known as Playamarina.
