The celebration of the day of the Sopa Mondeña (the typical Monda soup) is one of the most important festive events in the village's annual calendar, and every year attracts an ever-increasing number of locals and visitors. The soup is prepared in the village square and everyone, both young and old, takes part in this delicious feast.

The famous soup is enjoyed, accompanied by a glass of wine, against a backdrop of live music. The gaily decorated streets and the stalls offering a range of typical products from Monda all add to the festive atmosphere.
