A small beach with dark sand that runs from the ruins of the watchtower (Torrecilla de Nerja) to the mouth of the Chillar River.

It communicates with the Playa del Playazo and the Turret

It is 280m long and 30m wide, there is easy access to the beach as well as to the neighbouring beaches.

El Chucho is the last beach to the west of the promenade.

It is advisable to bathe with protective footwear because the seashore is very rocky and bathing can be difficult.

There is an area among the rocks surrounding the watchtower where you will see numerous small octopuses and fish while you are snorkelling.
