Paco Cepero was born on the 6 of March 1942 in Jerez de la Frontera He was brought up in the heart of a flamenco family, which led him to debut as a guitarist at the tender age of sixteen inthe Great Falla Theatre in Cádiz
He was Camarón de la Isla´s first guitarist and soon began to stand out as a composer, in 'falsetas´ and words He became important in the summer festivals, where he accompanied the great figures of his era, and in 1963 he arrived in Madrid, where he worked in Los Canasteros de Manolo Caracol
He has harvested numerous awards, such as Jerez´s National Award in 1975, Cordoba´s National Award in 1977, La Unions´ Gold Castillete in the same year, Ceuta´s Gold Yunque, the Melchor de Marchena Awardfor accompaniment and the Silver Cabal of the Circle of Fine Arts in 1999
