Mamuts Escultóricos

As a result of the different finds from the palaeolithic era and the great fame and the consequences that the mammoth has brought to the district of Padul, a number of images of Mammoths have been created representing this prehistoric animal.

There are two 4-metre high figures, one is located in the Plaza de la Constitución in Padul (beside the town hall) and the other is beside the Nature Centre which is the forthcoming Mammoth Visitor Centre.

There is another image of the mammoth on the roundabout at the entrance to the town, and yet another carved on the wall in the Calle Angustias, next to a lookout point where you have spectacular views of the area.
